Model Variants

Configuration for powerful heavy-duty machining of large rings The robust version for large workpieces and high cutting performance

This configuration is designed for the cost-effective machining of large workpieces and demonstrates its strengths wherever high stability and maximum cutting performance are required. For workpieces from Ø 1,000 to Ø 4,000 mm and heights of up to 1,000 mm, the PVHDC series offers a particularly rigid machine bed, powerful spindle headstocks with torques of up to 74,000 Nm and power ratings of up to 206 kW. This makes it the ideal solution for users who want to machine large ring-shaped components with precision, high process reliability and high productivity.

Configuration for flexible machining of complex geometries The versatile solution for demanding large-part machining

This configuration expands the application range of the PVHDC series and is designed for users who want to machine large workpieces with a high degree of process integration in a single machine. With a modular technology system consisting of different tool carriers, an optional B-axis and applications such as turning, drilling, milling, grinding and measuring, it provides the ideal platform for complex geometries and demanding machining tasks. Automatic tool change via chain magazines further increases flexibility and creates the basis for complete machining of large components in a single setup.

The specialized version for tall and complex components Configuration for tall workpieces and maximum machining depth

This configuration is designed for applications where tall workpieces, large machining depths and maximum accessibility are key priorities. With HDC-specific tool carriers such as the Tertia head and the integrated ram unit with an additional Z-axis travel of 1,000 mm, internal and external machining as well as driven machining operations can be carried out precisely, even on demanding workpiece geometries. It is particularly suitable for manufacturers who want to machine tall or complex large components flexibly, powerfully and with high process reliability in a single machine.
