PV630 SkiveLine The versatile universal machine for a wide range of workpieces

The PV630 SkiveLine expands the application range of the series and is designed for users who want to machine larger workpieces and integrate additional process variety in a single machine. With workpiece diameters of up to Ø 630 mm, a module range of up to 6.5 and higher power reserves, it provides the ideal platform for demanding internal and external gears as well as additional machining steps and measuring. It is the right choice for manufacturers looking for a particularly flexible and powerful machine for a wide variety of applications.

PV1250 SkiveLine The powerful variant for large workpieces and demanding requirements

Within the series, the PV1250 SkiveLine is designed for large and complex components where stability, torque and workspace are decisive factors. With a maximum workpiece diameter of Ø 1250 mm and a module range of up to 10, it opens up new possibilities for the precise machining of large-module gears. What range of modules does SkiveLine cover?

It machines gears from module 0.3 to module 10 – depending on machine size and configuration.

What is the advantage of the multifunction head?

The multifunction head enables the use of additional technologies such as gear machining, grinding, turning, drilling, milling, chamfering, backing-off and measuring. This allows highly flexible complete machining and high precision, even for complex workpieces.

Can internal and external gears be machined in a single setup?

Yes. For most workpieces, the SkiveLine enables internal and external gear machining in a single setup – for high quality and shorter lead times.

What automation options are available?

From manual or crane loading to swivel loaders with workpiece shuttle, robotic loading and zero-point clamping systems.

How easy is it to load the SkiveLine?

With its wide work area door, upward-opening crane access and side loading door for automation systems, the SkiveLine is particularly easy to load.

How many tools can be integrated?

The SkiveLine is available with a 16-position disc magazine as a near-standard configuration; larger versions can accommodate up to 150 tools.

Which control system and software are used?

In general, all PITTLER machines are equipped with the latest version of SIEMENS SINUMERIK ONE.
Optionally, the SkiveLine can be equipped with the original PITTLER SKIVING software, which simplifies gear programming. It also enables easy gear corrections and free input of cutting data. This significantly simplifies programming directly at the machine. Thanks to automatic data calculation, programming errors are reduced.
To ensure consistent component quality, PITTLER measuring and inspection software is also available.

Can the machine be viewed at the manufacturer’s facility?

Yes. You can view our machines directly at the manufacturer’s facility or at a reference customer site. On request, test machining is also possible, allowing you to experience the performance and precision on your own workpiece. To arrange an appointment, simply contact our sales team by phone.
