How Datagram Recording works

DVS Datagram Recording starts recording as soon as the machining of a component begins. Production conditions and machine settings are stored, as well as sensor time series.
Currently, the DVS Edge supports a configuration with up to four 3-axis sensors. If required, one-dimensional sensors with a higher sampling rate can also be used. The acquired data is consolidated and stored at DVS Edge. From this point, they can be shared via interfaces.

Datagram Recording also captures the HRI data. You have the option to specify where the data should be stored. Upon request, we can also integrate this data into DVS Connect

How Datagram Recording fits your processes

The basic version of Datagram Recordings is part of the scope of services of the DVS Edge. For the recording of production data, we recommend a sensor equipment package suitable for your machine. For data export to surrounding systems, DVS Edge is the standard component. It enables file storage in network drives, SFTP as well as modern protocols such as REST or integration into your software platforms.

Because Datagram Recording is an element of DVS Group's digital ecosystem, you can access it directly on your machine through DVS Edge - and beyond that, anytime from anywhere through our DVS Connect digital platform.
