DVS UGrind 800/1500
Most of our customers are manufacturers of clamping devices, milling tools, and components for the automotive industry or mechanical engineering. Our compact and modular solutions are especially suited to the production of small series or even individual parts. The configurable, customer-specific multifunction head (MFK) can be equipped with spindles for internal and external grinding as well as with turning tools and a 3D measuring probe. The MFK is also continuously swiveable with a resolution of 0.001 due to the direct drive provided by a torque motor. This means that any taper angle on inside and outside diameters can be machined without time-consuming dressing.
The machine itself features a clearly arranged working space, good accessibility to workpieces and tools, as well as simple and intuitive operation and programming.
The machine bed made of natural granite has a vibration-damping effect and is highly resistant to temperature fluctuations. This makes the UGrind solid enough to effortlessly turn hardened steels and even carbide. The 45° degree arrangement of the bed ensures effective chip removal.
Complete machining in one clamping. Turn anything that can be turned. Grind anything that needs to be ground.
Fast setup, quick programming – a machine that is pleasant to work with and gets the job done quickly.
Intuitive and ergonomic: good accessibility, crane loading, intuitive operation via a touchscreen, and complete program modules.
Small footprint thanks to integrated coolant treatment.
Optional automation solutions: The DVS UGrind also works fully automatically with our ULoad or a custom solution, such as from rbc robotics.
